Frequently Asked Questions

For restoration companies

How fast can you send a crew?

Call us as soon as the job comes in. We're on call 24 hours. For emergency jobs, we can have people on site within 2 to 3 hours.

Is there a minimum?

Yes. Each booking is a minimum of 4 hours of work.

Does the crew bring its own supplies?

The crew brings its own hand and power tools and transportation. We don’t bring cleaning supplies.

Are your workers insured?

Yes. We carry general liability, umbrella and workers' compensation insurance.

Do you supervise?

No. Your team directs the work and sets the protocols. We manage our people, scheduling and timekeeping. Owner Angel Piñero oversees our operations and is who you talk to.

How does billing work?

We'll go over billing when you book. We track our crew's hours, and every booking has a 4-hour minimum.

What does your crew do on a job?

We supply labor for pack-outs and contents (boxing, wrapping, labeling and loading), water damage (tear-out, debris removal, moving furniture, cleanup), mold remediation support, fire and smoke cleanup (debris haul-out, soot wipe-downs, cleaning), and rebuild cleanup and final cleans. We also add surge and overflow crews when you have more work than people.

What doesn't your crew do?

We don't run your job. Your production manager directs the work and sets the protocols, and we manage our people, scheduling and timekeeping. If you're not sure a task fits, ask us when you book.

What areas do you serve?

Prince George's, Montgomery and Howard counties in Maryland, the Baltimore area, Washington, DC, and south-central Pennsylvania from Harrisburg south. We're based in Hyattsville, MD. See Service Areas.

Do restoration companies use temporary labor or subcontracted crews?

Yes. Many restoration companies bring in temporary laborers when storms, burst pipes or big losses stack up. We supply that labor. Your production manager directs the work and sets the protocols, and we handle our people, scheduling and timekeeping. Our crews bring their own tools and transportation, and we carry general liability, umbrella and workers’ compensation insurance.

What does a restoration laborer do?

Our laborers do the physical work on a restoration job: boxing and loading contents on pack-outs, tearing out wet materials, removing and hauling debris, moving furniture, helping set up mold containment, wiping down soot after a fire, and final cleans before the property goes back to the owner. They work under your team’s direction and follow your safety rules.
